Gymnastics and Cheer World sent 5 gymnasts to compete in the International Children's games, which was hosted in Athens, Greece. The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission sponsored "Team Cleveland, USA", which was comprised of the following athletes: Mary Jane Horth, Madison Weisbarth, Monica Batton, Michaela Romito and Katie Fiorilli.
In the team competition, Team Cleveland took the silver medal, only .05 behind Team Greece.
In the individual events finals and all-around: Mary Jane Horth WON the all-around and uneven bars and placed 2nd on balance beam and floor!!!! Monica Batton took 4th on the vault!!!!! We are SO proud of our girls and their accomplishments in Athens! We are thrilled to celebrate this accomplishment with all you!
