Baseball Wolves Standout in 2008!
Mark Swanson - Young Harris College, named first team All-Conference Pitcher in 2008. Swanson posted an
11-1 record for Y.H., which was ranked as high as 2nd in the Nation.
Josh Higginbotham recently helped his Lee University baseball team to a National Runner-up spot in the NAIA World Series in Idaho in May.
Steven Henry was named Academic All Conference in 2008. Steven graduated from Presbyterian College in May after playing 4 years of baseball.
Will Bowers and Ian Quinn
each recently signed College baseball scholarships to continue their education and baseball career into next year and beyond.
Will Bowers signed with Shorter College in Rome, Georgia.
Shorter is a NAIA school and has a long history on baseball. WIll started at first base and as the DH the past 2 seasons and has been a 3 year letterman for the Varsity Wolves.
Ian Quinn signed with Harding University in Arkansas.
Harding University is a NCAA Division II school. Ian started in rightfield in 2008 after serving as a part-time starter in the outfield in 2007. Ian is also a 3 year letterman for the Varsity Wolves.
