NBA and WNBA 2009-2010 dribble, dish and swish national competition.  
 
Brooke Dawson, The Basketball Academy standout beat out 3000 kids to take 1st place in the regional NBA and WNBA 2009-2010 dribble, dish and swish national competition. Brooke finished 3rd in the United States in her age group out of over 25,000 kids. Click here to read more...
 
All clinic and conditioning events are held at USM GYM in Portland.

Intensive Specialized Clinics:
The Academy will offer specialized clinics on shooting and ball handling  at  the USM gym in Portland. Each week the shooting and ball handling clinics will be offered separately. The clinics cost $30 per session.
 
The clinics will be offered in levels: (Level 1, Level 2, & Level 3). New enrollees must take level 1 before they can enroll in level 2 and 3. For more detailed information call 772-6644.

NEW EQUIPMENT!! We have added new equipment to hone and maximize clinic participants' efficiency and skill.: Click here!  

Conditioning Program: (Individual/Group workouts available)
 
Our off the court Pyramid of Power conditioning program will provide a unique blend of body weight exercises that address the athleticism of all basketball players, including: speed, quickness, agility, flexibility, jumping, strength,stamina and mental toughness. Players will be put through a rigorous goal oriented plyometrics workout that is built on beating his/her personal best (or score) from the previous week. Everything done off the court is designed to produce direct results on the court.

Individual/Personal Instruction: (Open)
Individual one on one lessons will last one hour in duration. These sessions are available for the player who seeks intense workouts suited to his/her individual needs. Private Instruction is offered on session by session basis or in extended packages of multiple sessions.

Cost: $55 per hour for individual one-on-one trainings.

Partner/Group Instruction: These partner/group workouts are an excellent way for friends or teammates to work on their skills together. Strong focus is placed on improving each player's offensive skills, with significant focus placed on shooting, ball handling, passing, and "scoring move" fundamentals. Partner instruction offered in packages of 5 or 10 workouts.   

Cost: $25 per player for a group of 4 for a one-hour workout session.
$30 per player for a group of 2 for a one-hour workout session.
